Partner & Community Leader (1951-2022)
                        1951-2022
Tom was born and raised in Celina, Ohio, and graduated from Celina High school in 1970. He was admitted to the practice of law in 1977, after completing his undergraduate studies at Ohio University in 1974 and receiving his Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1977. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
Tom served as President of the Mercer County Bar Association, a member of the Council of Delegates and Board of Governors of the Ohio State Bar Association, Chairman of the Ohio State Bar Association's Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee and President of the Ohio State Bar Foundation. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Ohio Bar Liability Insurance Company and a member of the OSBA Legal Ethics and Professional Conduct Committee.
Tom is a past president of the Celina Rotary Club, was the Chairperson of the city's Sesquicentennial Celebration, and served more than 12 years as Secretary of the Celina Civil Service Commission. He taught hundreds of students as an 11-year adjunct professor at the Wright State University Lake Campus. He proudly served as a Trustee of the Mercer County Civic Foundation and as a member of the Board of Directors of Mercer Savings Bank.
Those who knew him well would say that Tom could spend the morning conferring with a state Supreme Court Justice or bank president or prominent Cincinnati attorney, then go to lunch at The Fountain or another downtown Celina restaurant and discuss local issues at a "roundtable" of men or women from all livelihoods and occupations.

Oversaw transition of the firm to Evin Bachelor
Passed away, leaving behind a legacy of service and dedication to the community
Tom oversaw the transition of the firm to Evin Bachelor in January 2022. Sadly, Tom passed away much too early in September 2022. The impact of his loss cannot be understated, but the team he left behind carries on his torch to help our neighbors in Celina and the surrounding communities.
We continue to serve our community with the same dedication and commitment that Tom exemplified throughout his career.
