Firm Founder

The firm's founder, Don M. Purdy, was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1949 after discharge from the United States Navy and graduation from the Ohio Northern University College of Law. After serving as the Mercer County Probate - Juvenile Judge, he entered the private practice of law in Celina.

Professional Practice

Mr. Purdy oversaw and maintained a thriving practice, concentrating in probate, real estate and commercial law. He served his profession as a President of the Mercer County Bar Association and was a member of the Executive Committee of the Ohio State Bar Association, now known as the Board of Governors.

Community Service

His service to the Celina community included positions on the Celina City Board of Education and the Celina Area Chamber of Commerce.

Legacy

Mr. Purdy retired from the practice of law in 1998, leaving a legacy of conscientious and ethical service and a commitment to improving the local community.
